About
I'm Chloé Bretnacher, a French Designer specialized in Strategic Design, User Research, Art Direction & Illustration, based in Toulouse, France.
I have carried out a varied course of study to nourish my general knowledge and acquire diversified expertises. My curiosity is fed by my ambition to excel in my field, which only versatility, culture, and open-mindedness will allow me to achieve. This thirst for learning and discovery also led me to move to Berlin for a second Master's degree, not only for a prestigious university program, but also to experience the cultural richness that the city offers. In parallel to my strategic design specialization, I perfected my professional English through cooperative projects.
Through my strategic design projects, workshops, and first-hand work experience at large companies like L’Oréal and Volkswagen, I have become familiar with numerous design thinking mechanisms. I used them on many occasions to lead innovative projects from their conception to their production by documenting them rigorously. No matter what I'm working on, I stay organized, reactive, and highly creative according to a design thinking mindset. Thanks to prototyping, I have learned to value simplicity, freeing my productions from unnecessary gimmick to offer the user a straightforward, efficient, and unique product. My work experience as a graphic designer has developed my visual culture, my eye for detail, and my ability to constantly adapt to design trends through regular monitoring. I learned to quickly adapt to constant graphic changes and embrace my previous collaborators' visual identity to create unique and striking visuals in their images.
Since my childhood, I have been involved in many activities that have developed my love for art and my perseverance to achieve my goals. I continue to learn and expand on subjects in my spare time to further develop my skills. I am passionate about my field and I am also an optimistic team member, and always keen to form new connections. Mutual respect, exchange, and understanding are central to my working philosophy. I have an international outlook, having lived in France and Germany, and having visited several countries around the globe.
Aware of the serious environmental problems we are facing and the solutions design can offer, I want to turn my professional endeavors towards a greener planet. Working each day to promote a more sustainable lifestyle, my aspiration is to fight for a cause I passionately care about and to leave a positive mark on Earth.
